Highway 15's Médéric-Martin Bridge connecting Montreal and Laval will close for repaving work beginning June 11 and continuing until the end of 2027.

The Quebec Transport Ministry says drivers should expect complete or partial evening, nighttime, and weekend closures on Highway 15 between Highway 40 and the bridge in both directions. On- and off-ramps in that section will also close, as will ramps at the Highway 15 and 40 interchange during those hours.

Temporary signage will mark detour routes, but traffic congestion is expected. The ministry recommends drivers allow extra time and consult Québec 511 before heading out on those routes. Weather could delay or cancel the work.

Commuters between the two cities should plan ahead — this is a long project.
