The Samuel-De Champlain Bridge and its approaches close Friday, August 28 at 11 p.m. through Monday, August 31 at 5 a.m., forcing traffic toward Montreal onto alternate routes.
The full closure runs between Exit 6 (R-132) on the A-10 west in Brossard and the overpass at Boulevard de l'Île-des-Sœurs on the A-15 north in Montreal, including the northbound Champlain Bridge span itself. Motorists heading to Montreal should detour via Exit 6 (R-132), Route 132 east, Exit 82 (Route 134), and the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.
Access points from Route 132 west and east also face closures with their own detour routes published by Mobilité Montréal. Boulevard Marie-Victorin East closes between the A-10 east access and the westbound A-10 onramp.
Simultaneously, the Victoria Bridge (Route 112) will operate on one lane in the westbound travée through the closure period. Starting Monday at 5 a.m., the eastbound travée closes for work through September 10, with the bridge running on one westbound lane according to a weekday schedule: inbound to Montreal from midnight to noon, outbound to the South Shore from noon to midnight.
On the A-10 Bonaventure toward downtown, a complete closure runs Saturday 5 a.m. to Sunday 5 a.m. between the Île-des-Sœurs access and Boulevard Gaétan-Laberge, including the Clément Bridge. A partial two-lane closure follows on the same stretch through Sunday.
The A-15 Décarie closes northbound Friday 10:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. between Jean-Talon and Rue Paré; detour via Boulevard Décarie north and Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse East.
