Area Controller training takes 20 to 27 months across three phases, with training pay of $58,606 to $61,337 and a qualified salary range of $143,513 to $207,450, plus annual premiums of $27,600 to $52,858. Tower Controller training takes 12 to 27 months across two phases, with the same training pay and a qualified salary range of $104,258 to $207,450, plus annual premiums of $5,449 to $52,858.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Bilingualism in English and French is required for the Montreal FIR posting.
