Northbound traffic on Pont Pierre-Laporte will face nightly lane closures through September 18, as the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable completes roadway repairs and work on the bridge's main deck joints.
Two of three northbound lanes will be closed most nights from roughly 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., with some variations: Sunday, September 13 closes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.; Monday, September 14 closes both directions from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The most disruptive night is Saturday, September 12, when Exit 132 (Boulevard Champlain) on Highway 73 northbound closes completely from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
For the complete closure, take Highway 73 north, then Avenue de Rochebelle south, Boulevard Hochelaga west, and the access ramp across from Rue Gabriel-Dumont to rejoin Highway 73 south. The same detour applies Monday night. Wednesday, September 16 also features a full Exit 132 closure with identical detour directions. Asphalt work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled if conditions turn unfavorable.
