Toronto Tempo bringing WNBA to Montreal's Bell Centre in July
Two games could set new league attendance records with Bell Centre's 22,000+ capacity; festivities include 3-on-3 tournament.

Canada's WNBA team, the Toronto Tempo, will host two games at Montreal's Bell Centre this July as part of the Cross-Canada Series, with the potential to set new league attendance records.
The Bell Centre holds over 22,000 people. The current WNBA attendance record for a playoff game is 22,076; the regular season record is 20,711.
"Playing two games in Montreal this summer is a huge moment for the Tempo and for basketball in Canada," said Tempo President Teresa Resch. "From the beginning, we've said we want to be Canada's team, and bringing the WNBA to Montreal is an important part of that vision. There is such a strong and passionate basketball community in Quebec, and we're excited to connect with fans there in a meaningful way."
The Tempo will face the Dallas Wings on July 10, and the New York Liberty on July 12. Beyond the games, Montreal will host festivities including a girls' 3-on-3 tournament presented by Canadian Tire featuring teams from Montreal and Quebec City. Tempo players will also be on hand for autographs on July 11.
