Montreal-Trudeau Airport has relocated its CellParc, the free waiting area where drivers pick up arriving passengers, creating confusion for travelers relying on GPS directions.
The CellParc moved from Cardinal Avenue—near the exo commuter train parking lot at Dorval station—to Jacques-de-Lesseps Street at the former ÉconoParc P7 lot, just in front of the Sheraton hotel. The airport announced the change on Monday, June 15, but most navigation apps, including Google Maps, still direct drivers to the old location.
Several people flagged the issue in the airport's Facebook comments, noting that even the Google Maps link on YUL's own updated website redirected to the old address. Aéroports de Montréal said it has submitted a request to Google for the update and expects it to be reflected "shortly."
The relocation is tied to ongoing construction phases around the terminal. A YUL spokesperson said the new spot is actually closer to the main passenger drop-off area, making it more convenient for drivers waiting on arriving passengers. Signage at the site has already been updated, and the airport plans to keep the CellParc there until a permanent location is established. The waiting area remains free for up to two hours if you stay near your vehicle, and washrooms are available on site. Until Google Maps updates, the airport recommends checking YUL's website directly for the current map and directions.
