Saturday's Bluesfest lineup brings country, hip hop, and indie rock to LeBreton Flats as the festival's third day kicks off.

On the RBC Stage main stage, Aspects — an Ottawa-based Indigenous blues, hip hop, and soul artist known for his guitar work — opens at 6 p.m. Aspects has performed at previous Bluesfest editions and collaborated with artists including Wyclef Jean, Wu-Tang Clan, Jack Johnson, and Anderson .Paak.

BigXthaPlug takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. after crossing over from hip hop into country with his album AMAR, which featured the hit "Texas" and collaborations with Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, and Shaboozey. He has over 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Closing the main stage at 9:30 p.m. is HARDY, whose modern country sound — showcased on the megahit "TRUCK BED" — blends the genre with rock and hip hop. He has collaborated with artists ranging from Falling In Reverse to Brooks & Dunn.

On the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa Stage behind the Canadian War Museum, Montreal's Kat Pereira opens at 6:15 p.m. with electro-pop and poetic lyricism on identity, feminism, and colonialism. Toronto's Luna Li takes the stage at 7:45 p.m. with indie rock and psychedelic tracks reminiscent of dream pop, having gained attention during the pandemic for bedroom recordings. Patrick Watson closes at 9:20 p.m.
