The Lumineers headline the RBC Stage Sunday night as Bluesfest closes its first week before a two-day pause. The alt-folk band, which has achieved more success in Canada than in their home U.S., are expected to draw singalongs to "Cleopatra" and "Ophelia" from their five-time platinum self-titled debut.

Local acts open the evening. summersets, a duo uniting Kalle Mattson and Andrew Sowka, takes the stage at 6 p.m. with mellow indie folk from their forthcoming album Pine Trees in a Perfect Row, due next month. Leif Vollebekk follows at 7:30 p.m. — a Juno-nominated artist whose Revelation album established him as a key figure on the Canadian folk scene.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa Stage features Mehdi Cayenne at 6:15 p.m., bringing electropop with roots in Ottawa's francophone community since his 2015 debut album Aube. Toronto rapper DijahSB takes over at 7:45 p.m. after earning Polaris Prize shortlists for both 2021's Head Above The Waters and last year's The Flower That Knew, which also garnered a Juno nomination for Rap Album of the Year. bbno$ closes the stage at 9:15 p.m., making a triumphant return to Bluesfest after his 2023 appearance; his viral hits "Edamame" and "Lalala" have now surpassed 1.7 billion streams.

Bluesfest resumes Wednesday after a brief pause. The festival kicked off Saturday with Hardy headlining the RBC Stage, while Patrick Watson delivered cinematic performances on the Hard Rock Stage.
