Award-winning vocalist and interviewer Kellylee Evans hosts a special series of free, intimate artist talks featuring candid conversations with innovative jazz musicians. The Kellylee Story & Song Series offers a rare, artist-to-artist deep dive into the creative process and the art of jazz.
Myra Melford, a pioneering jazz pianist and composer, sits down with Evans on Friday, June 26 at 4 p.m. EDT at Peter A. Herrndorf Place, 1 Elgin Street. The session is free; no tickets are required for entry.
The series continues through the end of June and early July, featuring Bobby Previte (June 25 at 4 p.m.), SALIN (June 27 at 5:15 p.m.), and Jodi Proznick of Ostara Project (June 28 at 5:15 p.m.). All sessions are free and open to the public.
Under30 tickets are available for anyone under the age of 30 at select NAC events for $15.
