A new upscale rental option has come to Nepean with the opening of Centrepointe Union, a two-tower complex by Richcraft located on Centrepointe Drive just south of Baseline Road.

The development offers 422 units ranging from one to three bedrooms across a 23-storey east tower and a 21-storey west tower. The east tower has been leasing since January, with finishing touches being added to the west tower. The company held a grand opening event on June 20.

Monica Singhal, Richcraft principal and director, describes the appeal as broad. "We have a diverse mix of resident clients," she said. "They share a desire for quality living, safety and a sense of connection with those around them." The suites are larger than typical rentals with high-quality finishes and thoughtful amenities.

What sets the complex apart is its focus on community. A resident experience co-ordinator, Selena Lewis, organizes programming and events to help residents connect. Early tenants have told her the buildings feel "like a hotel and a resort," she said. Lewis hosts regular events including coffee sourced from a local shop in the lobby and weekly yoga sessions.

Singhal points to the location as already well-established and transit-connected, with strong community, parks, schools, and amenities nearby. The area has personal significance for her family — her father founded Richcraft, and she grew up in Nepean. "Having grown up in Nepean, I have joyful memories of living here and the schools I attended close by. We are grateful to contribute a new residential project to this amazing neighbourhood," she said.

The buildings were designed by Ottawa's RLA Architecture with interiors by Toronto's U31 and furniture staging by Maison Blonde, also of Ottawa.
