Home invasion in Orléans leaves one victim hospitalized with serious injuries

Three suspects broke into a home on Stoneboat Crescent early Friday, assaulted and restrained occupants, and fled the scene. Police are seeking information.

Ottawa police are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred early Friday morning in the 1700 block of Stoneboat Crescent in Orléans.

Three suspects forced their way into the residence at approximately 4 a.m., restrained and assaulted the occupants. One of the victims was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not disclose additional details about the victim or what was taken from the home.

The suspects fled the scene. Police have not released descriptions of the individuals.
