Child freed after becoming stuck in concrete hole

Ottawa firefighters successfully freed a young child who became stuck in a concrete hole on Tartan Drive in Barrhaven on Tuesday afternoon. The approximately 5-year-old had accidentally stepped into the hole with their leg trapped inside. It was the second such rescue operation by fire crews in less than two weeks.
