Peter Dalglish and Jacques Lamarre lose prestigious honour following convictions.

Two men found guilty of serious wrongdoing have been stripped of their Order of Canada appointments, Canada's highest civilian honour. Peter Dalglish, founder of Street Kids International and named an Order member in 2016, was convicted of sexually abusing two boys in Nepal in 2019. Jacques Lamarre, former president and CEO of SNC Lavalin who received his Order appointment in 2005, was recently found guilty of corruption and collusion. The removals reflect a reckoning with past appointments to the prestigious honour.
