Ottawa Charge fall in PWHL final Game 1 thriller in overtime
Montreal scores tying goal with three seconds left before winning in OT; Game 2 Saturday at Place Bell.
The Ottawa Charge gave up a heartbreaking tying goal with just three seconds remaining in regulation, then fell in overtime to the Montreal Victoire in Game 1 of the PWHL final on Thursday night. Abby Roque scored the dramatic equalizer late in the third period, sending the game to extra time where Montreal ultimately prevailed. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at Place Bell in Montreal.
