Young girl hospitalized in critical condition after 11th-floor balcony fall in Ottawa
A child was rushed to hospital Saturday morning after falling from a highrise on Alta Vista Drive. Paramedics responded to the scene shortly before noon.

A young girl was taken to hospital in critical condition Saturday, July 4 after falling from an 11th-floor balcony at a highrise apartment building on Alta Vista Drive.
The Ottawa Paramedic Service received two calls about the incident at 11:22 a.m. Paramedics arriving at the scene in the 1500 block of Alta Vista found the girl on the ground beside the building.
