OC Transpo will operate on a Sunday schedule. O-Train Line 1 runs 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., while Lines 2 and 4 run 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The city is offering a "2-for-1 DayPass" where two riders get unlimited trips all day for $12.25. Para Transpo regular bookings and recurring trips will be automatically cancelled; customers may book Thanksgiving trips by calling 613-560-5000 or using My Para Transpo. The reservation phone line is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Most grocery stores will be closed, but select locations remain open: Farm Boy Metcalfe (9 a.m.–6 p.m.), Farm Boy Rideau (10 a.m.–7 p.m.), Whole Foods at Lansdowne (8 a.m.–6 p.m.), Loblaws on Isabella Street (7 a.m.–6 p.m.), Loblaws on Rideau Street (7 a.m.–6 p.m.), Metro Glebe on Bank Street (9 a.m.–6 p.m.), and Metro on Rideau Street (8 a.m.–7 p.m.). LCBO and Beer Stores are closed all day. Rideau Centre is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tanger Outlets is open, but other malls are closed.
No curbside green bin, garbage, or recycling pickup occurs Monday. Pickup will resume Tuesday with collection delayed one day for the rest of the week. Select pools, arenas and fitness complexes operate on modified schedules. Most recreation and community centres, city-operated museums and galleries, Ben Franklin Place, Shenkman Arts Centre, and Nepean Creative and Visual Arts Centres will be closed. All four Employment and Social Services offices and municipal child care centres are closed. Ottawa Public Library branches close; the Site mobile van opens 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The Ottawa 3-1-1 Contact Centre is open for urgent matters only.
