Kraft Dinner is venturing into ramen. The brand announced three new KD Ramen varieties hitting grocery, convenience, and big-box retailers across Canada in July.

The lineup includes Cheesy Ramen — a blend of KD cheese with bold ramen flavour, umami, and subtle spice — plus Extra Cheesy for those who prefer the cheesy side with mild ramen flavour, and Extra Spicy for heat seekers.

"KD has long been a staple in Canadian kitchens, and we're constantly looking to stay at the forefront of food, flavour and consumer trends," said Kelly Fleming, vice president of marketing and strategy for Kraft Heinz Canada. "As we started to see cheesy ramen emerge as a fast-growing segment within the ramen category in Canada, we saw an opportunity to bring the familiar cheesiness of KD to the ramen aisle. After over a year and a half of development, we're excited to bring three all-new KD Ramen varieties that are accessible, made for today's cravings, and still unapologetically KD."
