Ontario paramedic missing from Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, B.C.

Kayla Boisvert, a 28-year-old paramedic from Trenton, Ontario, has been missing since early Monday, July 27, from the Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, B.C.

Boisvert was last seen at 2:15 a.m. on the final day of the festival, according to B.C. RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Vanessa Munn. She was with her group at the Pagoda stage around 12:15 a.m. for Kai Wachi's performance, then moved to the Village stage at approximately 1 a.m. for Ganja White Night. A friend received a text from her around 3 a.m., after which she has not been in contact.

Boisvert was reported missing on Tuesday after friends could not locate her. She missed her scheduled flight home to Ontario. A missing person poster describes her as 6 feet tall with brown eyes and black hair, last seen wearing a blue head scarf, oversized graphic T-shirt, and multicoloured scarves. According to social media, she is a competitive powerlifter and rugby player.

This is the second missing person report from the festival this year. A 20-year-old woman reported missing was found safe on Wednesday.
