Sunny Saturday — 20 degrees, perfect patio weather and live music tonight.

It's a proper Saturday morning in T.O. — 20 degrees, mainly sunny, and that UV's running high at 8.0, so don't sleep on the sunscreen if you're heading outside for the day. You've got a solid 15 hours of daylight to work with, which means plenty of time for brunch, a walk, and still catch something tonight.

If you're driving, a couple of disabled vehicles are causing minor slowdowns on the 401 and 400 this morning — one on the 401 eastbound collector at Dixie in Sauga, another on the westbound collector at Avenue Road, and one more on the northbound 400 at the 407 near Vaughan. Nothing major, but give yourself a few extra minutes if those are your routes. The 501 Queen streetcar's back to regular service westbound from Jarvis to Spadina, so that's sorted.

Queen Street itself has been getting love since the car-free zone started three weeks ago — people are genuinely into it. Meanwhile, there's some rough news from North York: one person died and two others are seriously injured from a shooting late Friday night. The city's dealing with that today.

There's also a developing thing with Toronto parks and accessible parking permits that's blocking some people who should be able to use those spaces — worth knowing if that affects you or someone you know.

For food, if you're looking to eat: Friday Burger Company just dropped a secret omakase menu (yes, burger omakase is apparently a whole thing now), and Sunnys Chinese is running a summer BBQ series with city chefs. St. Louis Bar & Grill's got Wingsanity back with a leaderboard and a free wings for life prize if you're into that kind of thing. It's also worth noting that Electric Bill, the Australia-themed spot on Ossington, is closing August 16 after two years, so if you've been meaning to check it out, clock's ticking.

Tonight's got a solid vibe. There's live electronic music at Sunnyside Pavilion from 4:00 PM — Sunnyside Sessions x Defected Records takeover — if you want to stay outside in this weather. Casa Loma's got the Dressing the Abbey exhibit running from 5:30 PM if you want something quieter. And if you're into football, AFC Toronto's hosting Ottawa Rapid FC at York Lions Stadium at 4:00 PM.

Get outside while the sun's still generous. See you out there.
