Tuesday's got commute chaos—but the Jays are home tonight.

Morning. It's mild out there—17 degrees, mostly cloudy, with enough daylight to take you through to just after 8 PM. UV's sitting at 5, so if you're spending time outside, the sun's still got teeth even on a cloudy day.

On the road front, a couple of things to know before you leave. There's a disabled vehicle choking the westbound 401 Express near Kingston Road with the right lane down, and up on the 400 southbound at Langstaff, a collision's got two centre lanes closed. The 404 northbound ramp at Highway 7 is tight too—two right lanes and the shoulder are out. If you're heading north on Kennedy, they've got you detouring through Huntingwood, Birchmount, and Finch East because of a collision there. Nothing catastrophic, but plan a few extra minutes if any of those routes are yours.

A few things brewing around the city worth the scoop. Three homes in Ajax got destroyed or damaged in a suspicious fire Monday morning—still developing. Over in Richmond Hill, five bronze sculptures went missing from Lake Wilcox Park. And if you've caught wind of the trade tension between Canada and the U.S., Ford's been sending messages and signalling some economic support as things escalate on the tariff front.

If you're thinking food today, the CNE's opening Friday with some genuinely unhinged deep-fried offerings—we're talking Brie Oreos, wasabi sweetcorn lemonade, lobster sticks, the full chaos. Worth marking your calendar. And if you're in the mood for proper soba, Jackie Lin's bringing Toronto's first dedicated soba spot to Yorkville this fall. There's also six restaurants in the city doing fancy tasting menus for under a hundred bucks if you want to dial it in.

Tonight's got some moves. The Jays are at home against Kansas City at Rogers Centre, first pitch at 7:07 PM.
