Finding a spot to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Toronto is straightforward. Finding somewhere stylish with quality food and drink is another matter entirely.

These eight venues across the city are making exceptions to their usual offerings for the tournament, creating spaces where sports fans and those indifferent to the games can both enjoy themselves.

Emmer, the sourdough haven on Harbord Street, is opening its patio for evening service with a full wine and cocktail bar alongside a dinner menu featuring a smash burger, falafel burger, and a blooming onion interpretation.

In Little Italy, both Danny's Pizza Tavern and Danny's Next Door at 611 College St. will screen every match with volume cranked up and drink specials flowing. The patio includes two televisions for those preferring summer weather to indoor seating.

Dbar, the Four Seasons' swanky lobby bar at 60 Yorkville Ave., has installed three large-format digital screens with immersive surround sound. The menu leans refined: crisp duck croquettes with green peas, ramps and poultry jus; freshly shucked oysters with apple, yuzu and lemon preparations; and a lineup of Don Julio cocktails.

Osler Records on Osler Street combines coffee, bar service, music venue, and record label — turning the back room and bar television into World Cup screens until July 19, with audio on for marquee matchups.

Cheese Boutique's CB Bottega laneway patio opens for every match, serving drinks and snacks alongside the Cheese Boutique food truck and beer from Indie Alehouse.

Taberna LX brings piri piri with a Portuguese twist to the west end, offering béchamel-laced shrimp patties and crispy salt cod fritters — ideal for cheering on Portugal or any opposing team.
