Primrose Bagel Company teams with Kwinter's for Friday night hot dog parties

Primrose Bagel Company, the corner deli hand-rolling Toronto-style bagels fresh daily, is opening for dinner on Friday nights to partner with Kwinter's King Sam Hot Dogs on what owner Sam Davis calls a natural pairing.

"Hot dogs and bagels go together like spaghetti and meatballs," Davis said. "They're both part of that classic, timeless canon of deli food. We're all about tradition, and it just made sense to partner with the storied Kwinter's hot dog family."

Starting Friday, July 24, at 5:30 p.m., Hot Dog Night will feature traditional all-beef wieners loaded with mustard, ketchup, sauerkraut, and pickles, as well as regional favourites like Montreal steamies and all-dressed Chicago dogs. Primrose will also serve its signature King Sam Hot Dog, topped with pickled red onions, crispy onions, and mustard. For the adventurous, diners can skip the bun and slide a King Sam through the hole of a fresh bagel. Future dates are to be announced. Primrose's bagels ($1.50 each or $15 for a dozen) rotate through varieties including sesame, poppy seed, honey oat, rock salt, and marble rye, all hand-boiled and baked fresh on site.
