More than 1,200 food lovers, chefs, restaurateurs, and industry insiders gathered at Evergreen Brick Works on June 8 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Toronto Life's Best Restaurants presented by Uber Eats.
The evening kicked off with the Stella Artois Perfect Serve Awards, where 300 VIP guests watched Canada's top bartenders compete for the National Draught Master title. Anthony Saucier from Shaker Cuisine & Mixologie took the crown and earned a spot representing Canada at the Global Finals in London. Early attendees sampled passed appetizers from Bar Eugenie and Cheese Boutique, plus a grazing table from Graze Anatomy.
When the main event doors opened at 7 p.m., guests flowed through the venue with complimentary glasses of Three of Hearts Rosé, then sampled dishes from more than 20 restaurants featured in Toronto Life's Where to Eat Now issue. The lineup included Seahorse, Eloise, The Frederick, Oldeseoul Tavern, Bymark, Punch, Lunch Lady, Trattoria Nervosa, Radici Project, Richmond Station, Canoe, Curryish Tavern, Agak Agak, Makilala, Liliana, Good Behaviour, Sammarco, Aangan Toronto, Bar Eugenie, Cheese Boutique, Nice Slice, and Golden Horseshoe Barbecue.
The event honoured both the established institutions that shaped Toronto's food scene and the exciting newcomers pushing it forward, celebrating a decade of defining what dining in the city means.
