Toronto Video Game Month fills June with free and low-cost events celebrating the city's leadership in gaming, technology, and digital media.

The City of Toronto is hosting the second edition of the event, which brings gamers, tech enthusiasts, developers, and creatives together. Throughout the month, expect outdoor video games, AR/VR experiences, industry workshops, talks, game projections, and musical events.

Standout events include:

**Giant Video Games** (June 11, 8–11 p.m., Bathurst Quay Common) — Free. Play locally-created games projected onto Canada Malting Silos, explore a full arcade, and enjoy food stalls by the water.

**VRTO Spatial Media World Conference and Expo** (June 24–26, OCAD University) — Tickets $20–$400 on Eventbrite. Explore cutting-edge VR and augmented reality demos, connect with XR developers, and discover innovative installations.

**The Beautiful Game: A Playable History of Soccer Video Games** — Details coming as the month approaches.

Events are designed for everyone, from hardcore gamers to those exploring the scene for the first time.
