Heated Rivalry, Crave's award-winning series about rival hockey stars Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, is coming to Cineplex theatres across Canada beginning November 6.
Cineplex is offering two viewing formats. Fans can watch all six episodes in one epic marathon on November 8 for $24.99 plus tax at select theatres only. Alternatively, viewers can catch two-episode pairings on November 6, 10, and 11 for $9.99 plus tax each, choosing from the first two episodes, episodes three and four, or the final two episodes.
The series, created by Montreal director Jacob Tierney (of Letterkenny fame) and based on Halifax writer Rachel Reid's bestselling Game Changers book series, stars Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander and Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov. Rolling Stone dubbed it "a smutty hit," and it inspired countless memes, parodies, fan edits, and even a musical. The show was the most in-demand Canadian series globally in 2025, according to Parrot Analytics data.
Participating Cineplex locations and showtimes are expected to be available by end of day October 22 at Cineplex.com. Given the passionate fandom, tickets are likely to sell out quickly.
The good news for fans: Season 2 of Heated Rivalry is currently filming and is expected to premiere on Crave in spring 2027.
