Pedestrian killed on Eglinton West identified
A 66-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a fatal May 31 collision after police released a composite sketch seeking public help.

Toronto police have identified the victim of a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on May 31 on Old Park Road and Eglinton Avenue West.
The victim is a 66-year-old man. Police released a composite sketch and image on June 5, asking the public for help identifying him. On Tuesday, June 23, police confirmed the identification and thanked community members who came forward with information.
According to investigators, a 23-year-old man was driving a Honda Accord westbound on Eglinton when an unidentified male pedestrian attempted to cross from the north side of the street to the south around 1:19 a.m. The pedestrian was struck and pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the driver remained on site and cooperated with officers.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
