Bruno Mars concert cut short by Toronto's 11 p.m. noise bylaw

Fans left frustrated after Wednesday's Rogers Stadium show ended early without an encore, following noise complaints from the first night.

Bruno Mars' Wednesday night concert at Rogers Stadium ended before the 11 p.m. noise curfew, leaving fans disappointed by the lack of an encore or extended sendoff.

The early finish came after the first night of his five-night run drew noise complaints from residents as far north as Vaughan, with some reporting they could hear the 50,000-person show up to 15 kilometres away. The city moved to strictly enforce Toronto's outdoor noise restrictions for the remaining performances.

Concertgoers took to social media expressing frustration that the show ended abruptly. The situation highlights the ongoing tension between hosting major events and managing neighborhood concerns—a familiar friction point as the city hosts bigger outdoor concerts during the summer season.
