Man dies in North York industrial accident
Emergency crews responded to RioCan Empress Walk Plaza after a fatal fall Thursday evening. Ministry of Labour has been notified.

A man died in an industrial accident at RioCan Empress Walk Plaza near Yonge Street and Empress Avenue on Thursday, June 25, Toronto Police said.
Emergency crews were called to the site just after 5:00 p.m. Police say the man fell from an escalator and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The plaza has been evacuated and shut down. The Ministry of Labour has been notified and will investigate.
