Man stabbed at City Centre Transit Terminal in Mississauga

A man was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition Friday evening. A woman was taken into custody at the scene, and police say there are no outstanding suspects.

A man was stabbed at City Centre Transit Terminal near Square One mall in Mississauga on Friday evening, October 2, shortly after 9:30 p.m.

An altercation between the man and a woman preceded the stabbing. The man was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. A woman was taken into custody at the scene. Peel Regional Police responded to the incident.

Police advised the public to avoid the area due to a large police presence. There are no outstanding suspects, and the circumstances remain under investigation.
