A 34-year-old Milton man has been arrested and is facing 12 human trafficking and firearms-related charges after a police investigation that began in June.
Terrell Trench was arrested Wednesday in connection with the trafficking of a female victim throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Police allege he "procured and trafficked" the victim through a combination of deception, coercion, and control. The victim was transported across the GTA for sexual services, and money earned was surrendered to Trench and kept by him, police say.
Trench is facing charges including trafficking in persons, material benefit from sexual services, possession of a firearm without a licence, and careless storage of a firearm or prohibited device.
Police have released an image of the accused and say they believe there could be additional alleged victims. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
