Ontario tests asymptomatic people for hantavirus as cases rise
Low-risk cases to stop isolating if tests come back negative.
Ontario is now testing 10 asymptomatic people for hantavirus following cases linked to a cruise ship outbreak. The province has updated its guidance, allowing low-risk individuals who test negative to stop isolating. The hantavirus cases originated from the MV Hondius cruise ship incident, with passengers disembarking in the Canary Islands.
