Vancouver mayor submits motion to ease climate bylaws for affordability

Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim has submitted a motion to City Council to relax some of the city's climate-focused bylaws designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from buildings. The motion, to be discussed at a May 20 council meeting, asks staff to review housing and energy regulations including the Vancouver Building Bylaw.
