Tim Hortons Rolls Out Fountain Drinks Nationwide

Canada's coffee giant is finally bringing fountain drink machines to Tim Hortons locations across the country, alongside a new line of 'Soda Swirls' inspired by the viral dirty-soda trend.

Tim Hortons confirmed this week that it's rolling out fountain drink machines at Canadian locations—a shift that many customers have been waiting years for.

Starting now, Tim's guests can order crispy fountain Coke, Diet Coke, Fuze Iced Tea, and Minute Maid Lemonade at participating locations. The chain has also introduced Soda Swirls, its take on the ultra-popular dirty soda phenomenon (where fountain sodas meet flavored syrups and other add-ins), giving the brand a way to compete in a category that's been blowing up on TikTok and in independent beverage shops.

This has been a long time coming. While bottled soft drinks have always been available at Tim's, the absence of fountain options made the chain feel dated compared to competitors. The timing also makes business sense: trendy beverage culture is booming, and Tim Hortons needed to catch up to younger consumer expectations.

Rolls to Canadian locations are underway, though the chain hasn't specified a hard deadline for full nationwide availability. For now, the best bet is to check your local Tim's to see if they've got the new setup.
