Elvis Costello will perform a solo acoustic show at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on November 21 at 8 p.m. as a fundraiser for the Owen Hart Foundation.

This marks the second time the foundation has hosted Costello, an influential singer-songwriter who emerged from the punk and new wave movement in 1977 with his debut album My Aim is True. Over five decades, he has released 24 studio records spanning punk, new wave, country, jazz, classical and collaborations with artists including Burt Bacharach, Allen Toussaint and The Roots.

In October, Costello will release a 104-song boxset focused on My Aim is True, featuring a remastered version of the album and 52 never-before-heard demos.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 13 at 10 a.m. MT via Ticketmaster. The concert will mark the Owen Hart Foundation's 27th anniversary and will also feature a celebrity online auction to raise additional funds.

Named after late Calgary wrestler Owen Hart, who died in 1999 at age 34, the foundation was founded by his wife Martha Hart. Past benefit concerts have featured Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Martin, Bob Newhart, Sarah McLachlan and Martin Short. The foundation raises funds for education, affordable housing and international aid for vulnerable people.
