Battle of the Bands rocked ¡Glitch! Gaming Lounge in Airdrie on June 13-14 as two dozen adult and youth bands competed in the annual fundraiser supporting the Airdrie Public Library.

Nine youth bands performed Sunday, with No Alibi taking the youth championship. Adult performers graced the stage Saturday, and The Midnight Breakers were crowned adult champions.

Adult competitors included Acido Cafe, Fifth Sunday, Soul Trap, Velve, Immortals in Desire, Ashfall, Try the Fish, The Galacticas, and Take the Sonet. Youth bands performing included The Weasels, Mud Wall, Culture Shock, Edwards Factory, Grounded, The Headliners, Concrete Countdown, and The Ammolites.
