Airdrie Public Library is recruiting two Kid Librarians, aged 12 and under, to team up with library staff and create eye-catching book displays in the Children's Area throughout October, Canada's Library Month.

Selected Kid Librarians will work with a librarian to build weekly displays highlighting their favourite library finds and recommendations, starting Monday, October 5. Each display will showcase page-turning picks and give young readers a chance to share those selections with the community.

Guardians must submit an online application by October 5. The library will hold a random draw to choose the two winners.

Beyond the Kid Librarian program, Airdrie Public Library is hosting a Canadian Library Month Bingo challenge open to all ages. Participants pick up a bingo sheet beginning October 1 and complete as many library-themed activities as possible. Completed sheets must be returned by November 1 to enter a draw for a $50 Ground Press gift card.

Library Director encourages families to stop by, grab a bingo sheet, and visit throughout the month to see what the Kid Librarians recommend. For more information, visit yourapl.ca.
