Okotoks extends outdoor concert series after weather postponement

Okotoks' Thursday Nights @ the Plaza concert series has been extended by a week after last week's concert was postponed due to a storm.
The Prairie Dogz were scheduled to perform at the Arts and Learning Campus Plaza on Thursday, August 20, but severe weather forced cancellation. They will now perform at the plaza on Thursday, September 3 at 7 p.m.
This week's concert will feature the Dino Martinis on Thursday, August 27 at 7 p.m. Billed as Calgary's favourite wedding, Christmas and corporate party band, the Dino Martinis draw from a huge repertoire spanning jazz standards to AC/DC.
A similar weather disruption earlier in the series happened August 13, when a performance by Ahead by a Century was relocated to the Viking Rentals Centre due to a storm. The Town of Okotoks said there wasn't time to relocate the August 20 show, prompting the full postponement until September 3.
