Man in his 20s dies after motorcycle crashes into West Springs home

The crash happened early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Wentworth Square S.W. Speed, alcohol, and drugs are not believed to be factors.

A man in his 20s is dead following a motorcycle collision in southwest Calgary early Sunday morning, June 21.

Calgary Police Service responded to the crash in the 100 block of Wentworth Square S.W. in West Springs at around 6:03 a.m. The motorcycle, operated by the man, was travelling northbound on Wentworth Square when it continued through the intersection and struck a residence.

Police said there were no witnesses and the exact time of the incident remains under investigation. Speed, alcohol, and drugs are not believed to be factors in the collision, and there is no evidence to suggest that another vehicle was involved.
