More charges laid in fight outside SE Calgary religious event

Three more people have been charged in connection with a fight that erupted outside a place of worship in southeast Calgary in February. On February 7, 2026, around 12 protesters arrived outside a religious event being hosted at a centre on Meridian Road SE. The confrontation escalated when people associated with the centre came out of the building and verbally threatened the protesters, followed by an SUV incident that led to further violence.
