Calgary police are asking the public for help identifying suspects in a shooting that occurred Thursday night in Marlborough.

Two vehicles—a white 2010 Mazda 3 and a black Nissan Murano—became involved in an interaction shortly before 9:30 p.m. An occupant of the Nissan pointed a firearm at the Mazda, police say. The Mazda attempted to drive away, but was followed by the Nissan along Madigan Drive N.E., where the occupant of the Nissan fired shots. Three of the bullets struck the Mazda before the Nissan turned onto Manora Drive N.E. and fled.

Occupants of the Mazda found a patrol officer and reported the incident. No injuries were reported.

Police have not identified the suspect vehicle or its occupants. Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage showing either vehicle in the Marlborough areas of Manora and Maitland between 9 and 10 p.m. on June 18 is asked to contact Calgary police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through the Crime Stoppers website or P3 Tips app.
