Calgary Police are seeking the public's help identifying two suspects in a commercial robbery and assault that occurred on May 27 around 9:28 a.m. at 500 17 Avenue S.W.
According to police, a male and female entered the business and requested water. When an employee told them payment was required, the female suspect threw coffee cups from the counter onto the floor and took a banana without paying. When the employee attempted to escort the two from the business, the female suspect assaulted the employee. Both suspects then fled the scene.
Police describe the female suspect as between 12 and 18 years old with medium, dark hair. She was wearing an all-black tracksuit with black shoes at the time of the incident. The male suspect is also described as between 12 and 18 years old. He wore an all-black tracksuit with a white stripe down the arms, a black hat, and black shoes. Police note he was carrying a longboard.
