Two Calgary energy firms rank among world's best companies for 2026

Enbridge and Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) have been named to Time Magazine's World's Best Companies of 2026 list, a ranking developed with data firm Statista that evaluated 1,000 companies globally.
Enbridge ranked 185th overall with a score of 83.74 out of 100. The company received an "Outstanding" rating for revenue growth over the past three years, placed 500th in employer satisfaction (based on surveys of more than 200,000 employees worldwide), and ranked 532nd for sustainability transparency — assessed across carbon emissions, diversity on boards, human rights policies, and corporate responsibility reporting.
CNRL placed 928th with an overall score of 73.37. It ranked 375th for employer satisfaction, 935th for sustainability transparency, and received a "Moderate" growth rating.
Of the 1,000 companies making the list, 18 were Canadian. TD Bank Group was Canada's highest-ranked company at 14th overall with a score of 89.58, followed by Manulife at 54th and Desjardins at 74th. Earlier this year, a Calgary-based company ranked second globally on Time Magazine's World's Top GreenTech Companies list.
