Nine Calgary-based companies have been recognized among Canada's top 125 businesses according to a new ranking from Time magazine and Statista that evaluated employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability transparency.
Boardwalk, a real estate company, ranked highest among Calgary firms at 45th place with an overall score of 85.06. It posted an employee satisfaction score of 89 and a sustainability transparency score of 45, placing in the "very high" category for revenue growth.
Other top Calgary placements include ATCO at 50th (score 84.37, employee satisfaction 99), TC Energy at 88th (score 79.90, employee satisfaction 85), Canadian Pacific Kansas City at 92nd (score 79.21, employee satisfaction 117), Brookfield Residential at 93rd (score 79.19, employee satisfaction 74), Precision Drilling at 96th (score 78.97, employee satisfaction 76), Graham at 99th (score 77.99, employee satisfaction 97), AltaLink at 118th (score 75.14, employee satisfaction 49), and Phoenix Technology Services at 121st (score 74.46, employee satisfaction 107).
The ranking looked at data from thousands of employees, financial performance, and corporate sustainability practices. TD Bank Group topped the national list with an overall score of 96.89.
