A worker was in critical condition Friday following a fall at a job site in northwest Calgary. Paramedics responded around 1:50 p.m. to the 500 block Kincora Drive N.W., where they found an adult patient in life-threatening condition, according to Stuart Brideaux, public education officer with Emergency Health Services – Alberta. Calgary Police Service also responded to the workplace accident at around 2:19 p.m., finding the individual still in life-threatening condition.
The worker was rushed to hospital with injuries sustained in the fall. Occupational Health and Safety has been notified and is conducting an investigation into the incident.
