Dosa Glory opened two weeks ago on the south side with a singular mission: serve authentic South Indian food without diluting its cultural roots or flavour.

The restaurant's centerpiece is its dosa menu—35 varieties spanning from classic ghee masala to inventive paneer tikka and pav bhaji renditions. A dosa is a thin, crispy rice crepe, a foundational South Indian dish often stuffed with spiced potatoes or other fillings. Here, the range lets diners explore deep into regional traditions or experiment with modern twists.

But dosas are just the beginning. The menu balances tradition with contemporary appetite: fragrant Mughlai curries, Indo-Chinese classics, and chicken wings dressed in global sauces sit alongside the crepes. The outside is unassuming—it's the kind of south-side strip space that doesn't announce itself. Inside, though, the team has crafted an atmosphere that feels carefully considered.

"We believe in respecting tradition while staying open to flavours that excite the modern palate," the team wrote on its website. "We chose 'Dosa' because it is the heart of South Indian cuisine – humble, versatile, and endlessly creative. We added 'Glory' because that is exactly what a perfectly made dosa deserves."

The menu is browsable online before you head down. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It's open every day—perfect for craving dosa at any moment.
