KDays Music Fest stages Bedouin Soundclash, Aysanabee

KDays Music Fest, running July 17–26, has announced a full slate of performers for the CKUA Radio Stage, the festival's North Stage partnership with Alberta's listener-supported station.
Bedouin Soundclash will headline opening day, July 17. Aysanabee, who played Edmonton Folk Music Fest last year, returns July 22 with Robin Cisek. The CKUA stage will also feature a return of Bluesfest on opening weekend: Buckwheat Zydeco & The Legendary Ils Sont Partis Band and Crystal Shawanda on Saturday, July 18, and Monkeyjunk and the Blackburn Brothers on Sunday, July 19.
Wrestling takes over July 20–21 with Top Talent Wrestling's KDays Slamfest. Beatles tribute act Pepperland plays July 23. July 24 features drag performances presented by EVO and TFD, with performers Marina Summers, Makayla Couture, Juice Boxx, Xana, Nearah Nuff, Cedar T, Mona Lott, Felicia Bonee, KROMATIC, and Sorry Not Sorry, hosted by Pepper. The final weekend closes with CELIN supporting Edmonton soul artist Kreesha Turner on Saturday, July 26, and The McDades and De Temps Antan on Sunday.
Daytime entertainment includes the Alberta Strongman Competition (July 17–19), Powwow Dance Demonstrations from the IAM Collective (July 22 for Indigenous Feature Day), House of Hush (July 23), Northern Empire Performing Arts (July 24–25), and Rock & Roll Society of Edmonton performances (July 26).
