The UFC is returning to Edmonton for the first time in nearly two years. Rogers Place will host a UFC Fight Night event on Saturday, October 17, marking the fourth UFC event ever held in the arena.
The announcement came on July 19. The last UFC event in Edmonton was held in November 2024, which featured a flyweight bout between Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi. Prior UFC events at Rogers Place include UFC 240 in 2019 and UFC 215 in 2017.
No fights have been announced for the upcoming event yet, as the UFC has only finalized fights through late August. Fans can register online for exclusive early access to tickets. Once tickets go on sale publicly, they will be available through the UFC's official website and Ticketmaster. This continues an uprise in UFC events across Canada, with Edmonton now tying Vancouver with two events since 2023.
