Strathcona County RCMP are asking residents to watch for Christina Strand, 32, who has been missing from Sherwood Park since Sept. 4 and is the subject of a concern-for-safety investigation.
Strand is described as having a fair complexion, blonde hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 143 pounds.
Anyone who has seen Strand or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741.
Missing persons investigations in the region have drawn attention in recent years. Caralyn Aubrey King was last seen in Edmonton in August 1997 and was located deceased in September 1997 near Strathmoor Way at Highway 16 in Strathcona County, near Sherwood Park; that case remains unsolved. More recently, Natanis Merasty was reported missing by her family on May 9, 2025, in Edmonton. Edmonton Police Service assumed conduct of the investigation on May 22 and continues to coordinate with agencies across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
