Edmonton police seek public help identifying river valley sexual assault suspect
Police are looking for a man believed to have assaulted a teenage girl on June 23 west of Grand View Drive.

Edmonton police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred in the river valley on June 23.
Two female teens were walking in the river valley west of Grand View Drive and 62 Avenue around 8–8:30 p.m. when a man approached them from behind and assaulted one of the girls. The victim was able to flee to a nearby neighbourhood.
Police describe the suspect as Asian or Indigenous, around 40 years old, five-foot-six to five-foot-eight with a thin build and brown hair. He had a slouch or slow walk and was wearing black sweatpants or jeans at the time.
