Edmontonians looking for affordable transport to Jasper this summer now have a new option. Intercity bus service FlixBus launches a daily round-trip route between Edmonton and Jasper National Park starting Thursday, June 18.
The seasonal service will run Thursday through Monday, including the Canada Day weekend. Passengers will board at two Edmonton stops: Southgate Transit Centre and the downtown bus terminal near Jasper Avenue and 116 Street. The direct route provides access to Jasper National Park and surrounding areas.
"We're seeing more travellers prioritize experiences when planning trips, and they're looking for transportation options that get them there without the added cost and hassle of travelling by car," said Karina Frayter with Flix North America. "Jasper is one of Canada's most sought-after destinations and by adding a direct connection from Edmonton we're making it easier for more people to visit the region just in time for the official start of summer."
FlixBus vehicles include free Wi-Fi, onboard power outlets, extra legroom, and real-time trip tracking.
